PhD in Chemistry and expert in intellectual property rights and technology transfer, since 2005 he works in CSIC Deputy Vice-Presidency for Knowledge Transfer where he currently holds the position of head of the Department of Commercial Strategy and Internationalization. He worked as scientific researcher for 8 years in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He also worked for 3 years as R&D Project Manager in the industrial sector and for 2 years as Project Technical Assistant in the European Commission, for the monitoring and evaluation of Europeans projects in new materials and manufacturing technologies.
