In the industrial sector, since January 2020, he has been member of the Board of ASTI Mobile Robotics and Chief Innovation Officer and Innovation Advisor of ABB Mobile Robotics. He is also a strategic advisor for PONS IP, the leading patent and trademark management agency in Spain. With 30 years of experience at Telefónica, he has always been involved in activities related to innovation and industrial property management, creating Spain's first "in company" industrial property office at Telefónica. He is a regular interlocutor on R&D&I and industrial property issues with the European Commission, OECD, and different public Administrations. He is also member of the Boards of Licensing Executive Society Spain & Portugal and Chairman of the IP WG of AMETIC, the Spanish business association of ICT sector. He collaborates regularly as a professor in postgraduate programs related to Innovation and Industrial Property Management at prestigious Business Schools such as IESE, IE, ESADE, and Pons Business School.
